A
restoration project, based on an an original, solid, wooden SAS DC-6
from late forties or early fifties which was completely beyond
salvation. This model
represents a mixture of an advertising model inspired by the
Smithsonians Scale 1:24 UNITED DC-6, and a scale model. I have used
original photos,
technical
manuals and SAS documentation of the real AC - LN-LAH, Douglas line
nr 121, as it was delivered to DNL/SAS and flown in 1948. Colour
photos
also
existed on the interior .
