When the DC-7C was
phased out of regular service within SAS some went into airfreight
and some into charter service by Scanair. As many models as SAS
managed to retrieve went through a SCANAIR re-profiling (Cutaways
and solid castings). This Fermo 1:50 model got a full overhaul with
revised decals sometime in the 1960's as one can see by comparing
the original from Fermo castings from 1956. |
