significant document archive, and has a large collection of
uniforms, staff newspapers, pictures, posters, technical
manuals, timetables, aviation books and memorabilia dating back
to the creation of Imperial Airways in April 1924.

research about the airline and its history by authors and
students. it also handles enquiries from press, radio and
television. It supports BA's current business activities as a
point of reference for the airline's press, marketing and other
key departments.
